Ottery Generator Refurb Case study

Removed two 400Kva Generators form a store in Parklands to prepare for refurbishment, servicing and reinstallation in a new store in Ottery

The Generators removed, had severe rust on the Canopies and were no longer weatherproof thus causing damage to electrical and electronic components.

We remanufactured canopy parts and repaired where possible as well as new sound proofing materials installed.

The controllers were replaced and then used the two Generators to synchronize to provide more capacity as Load increased as and when required for the store.

Although the Generators were in a poor condition externally, it was deemed a viable exercise as the Engines had low run hours so budgets could be met.

The Client was extremely happy with the outcome of the project.
